The background chanting was questionable choice, however, and the information graphic was impossible to read, as it kept blinking, but the amount of effort and care in reporting throughout this package is impressive.
Place Name: Third Place Contestant Name: California State University Los Angeles Entry Title: Los residentes se despiden de la torre de Sears Entry Credit: Jorge Garcia Judge Comment: As a native Spanish speaker, I was impressed with Jorge Garcia's excellent reporting, editing and narration on the audio piece (though I found it a bit strange that a woman's voice was used to translate one of the men interviewed). And although it was important to show the exterior of the building, the gallery itself was repetitive. Regardless, Mr. Garcia, please keep up the great work!
