    Judge Comment: Professional level writing and reporting that could be published in any mainstream outlet. Great information, good details and engaging writing that followed a clean narrative that pulled the reader along. Although this was not factored into the decision, the story package was also very beautifully designed.

    Judge Comment: Great details and historical context.
  • Competition Comment: It was difficult to narrow down the list of a clear top 5 to only 3, but almost all of these submissions displayed good reporting technique. All followed fascinating feature subjects.
