I’m Brady Teufel, a journalism professor and social networking consultant living in San Luis Obispo, California. This Web site is a place for displaying content related to and produced in the classes I’m teaching.

A little background: I teach multimedia, visual communication, photojournalism and  news-editorial reporting at California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo. I’m also currently the adviser for Mustang Daily newspaper and the Cal Poly Magazine Club.

I was born in New Zealand and raised on the Central Coast of California. After graduating from the University of California at Santa Cruz in 1998, I had a good run at blending lifestyle and livelihood while helping launch a quarterly surfing publication with a circulation of 20,000. As a graduate student at the University of Missouri, Columbia (2001), I discovered a love for teaching and hope to continue finding creative and engaging ways to pursue all these interests in the future.
